no forwarding address update

I went through my address book and found another email address for my friend. One she had used very briefly when she had ISP issues, so I sent her the card that way.

She picked it up and emailed me back. So, connexion re-established. Yes, we both got busy. And then her laptop died, then her phone, and she couldn't recover all the contact information.

I'm glad I listened to that inner voice telling me to send the card, and that I followed through.

  1. I had a problem with my phone last year. The very helpful customer service representative who "repaired" it wiped out all the information on the phone. I spoke with a supervisor who retrieved some of the numbers, but most are gone for good. I gradually find numbers to go with names. I'm glad you were able to make contact.

    1. My first cell phone didn't have a SIM card, and as I was still having one foot in the paper and one in the electronic world, I wrote down all the numbers in my phone and stuck the list in my phone book. When that phone died the death, I at least had all the contact numbers.

I've not been as diligent since, although I do have a haphazard list.

We're simply picking up where we left off, which makes me very happy.

  2. Great news! I'm so happy for you!!

  3. Hello, Megan. I hope you look here once in a while. If so, will you please drop me a line at I'd like to be in touch.
